Mount Kenya Safari Club The Mount Kenya safari club, with its blend of romance, history and scenery has become the place to be while in Kenya, whether on safari or on business. LocationIt is built at the equator facing Mt Kenya. The site is truly magnificent with its nice view of the glacier covered Mount Kenya. |
Mount Kenya safari club large and complex, with the grounds covering 100 acres of land and contains a diverse range of accommodation options, many sports facilities and a host of shops and galleries.
TraditionsThe hotel maintains a tradition of upscale elegance. There is a dress code for dinner with live music for dancing. Children are required to eat separately.
This sense of formality harks back to an earlier era with hints of snobbery and pretension. However, anyone can stay and receive special attention.

The scenery around the club is great. There is an amazing parade of enormous birds: marabous, peacocks, and cranes roaming around and giving a perfect opportunity for photography.
Things to doWhile here, you will never get bored due to the large selection of things to do. There is an excellent art galley where you can enjoy great contemporary arts or you take a horse ride to the forests around.
If none of that appeals to you, you can take a swim in the pool, play golf, or visit the boutiques and curio shops.
