The Marsabit National Reserve is located in the remote northern part of Kenya in the hilly and forested district of Marsabit. The reserve has a cool climate due to the high altitude.
The park is home to elephants, rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalos, warthogs, Grevy's Zebra, giraffe, hyena, antelope and many birds of prey.
The best way to get to Marsabit national park is to fly to Marsabit town from Nairobi. The road from Isiolo is very rough and also not safe to travel.
