Biking is a popular event in Kenya. Many people use bikes in Kenya and it is quite common to see tourists and locals riding on bicycles. The main things a traveler can do while biking include exploring the diverse geology of the land, learning about rural education and health care, visiting archeological and historical sites, studying vegetation and observing agriculture and economic activity of the people.

Cyclist is a great way to see the spectacular views and have unrestricted access to interesting local people as they go about their day-to-day activities. For the true biking enthusiasts, you can go mountain biking up mount Kenya and the Aberdares mountain or go on a bike safari and cover great distances from one corner of the country to the other.
The toughest aspect cycling in Kenya is the altitude. You may be in good shape for flat land cycling, but you will feel the fatigue and difficulty while cycling in much of Kenya due to its hilly landscape.
On the brighter side, this is a great way to lose weight.
