Beautiful Kenya Hotels at an affordable price

A nice and affordable hotel at Watamu There are many beautiful and affordable hotels here where you can stay on your vacation without breaking the bank. You will find them all over the country, at the coast, in the cities and near the game parks and reserves.

The lodges in the game parks are great places to stay too. They have good rooms with good indoor plumbing. Many lodges are also equipped with outdoor swimming pools. Examples of these lodges include Keekorok, Mara Serena, Mara Simba, Shaba, Samburu Intrepids and Outspan Lodge.

The Severin Sea Lodge

This is a fine classy place with appealing round cottages placed near the beach. It offers excellent bars and restaurants including one restaurant built from a converted dhow (Ancient Arab Boat).

They have single and double rooms which are very nice and comfortable. Hotel rates are very reasonable but the price also depends on whether you are there on a low season or high season.

White sands Hotel

This is an award winning hotel and is one of the best resort hotel in Kenya. It is well designed with abundant luxury facilities and fancy woodwork, hand painted panels and marble.

It offers great service to guests and has several swimming pools for your enjoyment.

Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel

Serena beach hotel has a great design featuring traditional Swahili village style architecture to give you an authentic feel of the Kenya coastal culture. It is a huge resort with tree lined pathways, a great place to take romantic strolls in the night.

It has great double level rooms that feel like your very own home, climbing the stairs and go to the bedroom above. The room prices are very reasonable.

Travellers Beach Hotel

This is a modern, stylish and quiet resort with most rooms having a great view of the ocean. You can just sit in your room and watch the endless blue sea and feel it's cool breeze.

At the front of the resort, there is a big triangular thatched building giving the feel of a traditional Swahili home. There is also a nice swimming pool where you can take a dip in the warm water.

Royal Reserve Safari & Beach Club

This is one of the best self-catering resort in the whole of Kenya coast. It features nice modern apartments, newly renovated and containing extras like microwaves and utensils.

There is also a variety of facilities and activities here to help you enjoy your dream holiday. It is served by an on-site shop and a shuttle bus service to the supermarket. This is a very popular place and one needs to book early in high vacation season.

Petuscha Garden Lodge

This is a small private lodge, very popular with German people. They have a wide range of rooms and different rates that are negotiable.

There is a nice on-site restaurant, in addition to the several other restaurants in the nearby Shanzu Shopping centre offering pizzas and other European flavors.

Sun’n’ Sand Beach Resort

This resort has a feel that is true to its name. Sun’n’Sand is one of the best hotels for children. There is a lot of clean white sand in the beach where children enjoy playing and building sand houses while the parents relax
